National Partners
The Community Action network stepped up to help at the very outset of the COVID-19 outbreak. NCAF stepped up as well, working to secure a $1 billion supplemental appropriation as part of the congressional response to the crisis.
Through a series of Zoomcasts and Community Action Together videos, NCAF shines a light on the efforts of federal officials and of CAA boards, directors, staff and volunteers who are working tirelessly for their communities in these extraordinary times. We also highlight the recognition given to the work of Community Action Agencies in the news. This page provides links to important resources from federal agencies and national partners, including interviews (Zoomcasts) with federal officials on implementation of CARES Act funding. Avoid Scams
The FCC has developed a COVID-19 scams page that includes tips to assist consumers with protecting themselves and their loved ones. The guide includes scam audio and a sample text hoax that was circulating. The FCC will continue to update the page as they learn about new COVID-19 scams.
